Head of Development

We are looking for Head of Development for out Client - Cenosco.

Our cloud-based platform delivers the smart and sustainable approach to maximizing asset productivity and instrumentation safety.

 

Tasks:

  • Manage capacity and deliverables of the teams and support cross-team planning and coordination 
  • Work closely with Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features and improvements
  • Make sure that processes, products, and services follow high standards of technical excellence 
  • Lead, mentor, grow and retain a high-performing engineering team in collaboration with People & Culture department
  • Carry out annual performance reviews and check-ins, making sure that your team members get timely and constructive feedback 
  • Suggest rewards, salary increases and promotions aligned with team member's performance and business needs, while staying within the allocated budget
  • Promote company culture, open communication, cooperation, and teamwork 
  • Resolve potential problems and conflicts and escalate when necessary 
  • Facilitate daily Scrum and Sprint initiatives and enforce processes which will be followed within the team
  • Stay up to date on industry and technology trends and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent
  • Familiarity with tech stack:
      • C#, WebAPI, JavaScript, Knockout, React, Angular)
      • SQL, OData, LinQ, EntityFramework
      • Git
      • RESTful Web Services
  • Experience working in SaaS scale-up environment
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including change management, conflict management and delegating
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly and concisely conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and leadership at all levels
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions to improve product quality and development processes 
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
