How you’ll make an impact

As an Embedded Software Engineer at PROSAFETY , you’ll work on tailor-made solutions for clients across industries such as mobile automation, transportation, medical engineering, process and industrial automation, and energy & drives - all within demanding, safety-critical environments. Your contribution will be meaningful and impactful.

You will:

• Collaborate with clients on system and requirements analysis
• Design software architecture
• Write specifications and implement functional modules
• Verify specifications and prototypes by designing and running static and dynamic testing
• Implement changed requirements and conduct impact analysis on the software
• Support system validation and maintain clear, structured documentation
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners to ensure aligned execution

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on knowledge of C and object-oriented programming in C++
• Familiarity with version control systems, compilers, and design tools
• Understanding of electronics and experience using measuring equipment
• Knowledge of fieldbus protocols, MISRA standards and ARM/Cortex microcontrollers is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-driven approach
• Proficiency in English is essential
• German language skills are highly desirable - and if you’re not there yet, we offer intensive language courses through the Goethe Institute
