Senior QA Engineer

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 4 years of experience
• Proven experience in software quality assurance
• Attention to details and passion/knack for bug detection
• Ability to think "destructively" in order to add quality to ABH products
• Great written and communication skills
• Great time management skills
• Great knowledge of testing theory/principles with ability to demonstrate it on concrete examples
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Great knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Javascript, Python...) and corresponding test framework
• Knowledge of protocol and experience with RESTful APIs for the purposes of API automation
• Knowledge and experience of at least one UI automation framework (Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium)
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants/agents (Claude Code, Codex...etc.) in everyday work
• Practical experience applying AI agentic approaches to speed up testing activities (test generation, automation, failure root cause analysis...etc.)
• Confident using Git
• Confident using Linux, in particular terminal/cli commands
• Knowledge and experience using CI/CD processes and tools (for example: Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab CI..etc.)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with bash scripting, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud environments/services like AWS or Azure
• Understanding of agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Create and manage test suites
• Design automation projects from scratch or manage existing ones
• Design AI agents which will speed up QA processes or manage existing ones
• Write functional test scripts (for web applications, APIs, CLIs...etc.)
• Create CI workflows
• Contribute to your team but also to the company with QA research efforts by adopting and developing new tools/procedures in order to facilitate the testing process
• Be a great team player and educate less experienced QA members
• Challenge/question the work that developers do on a daily basis
• Work with a Product Owner (requirements, definition and planning)
• Conduct client communication in terms of gathering project requirements and providing concise feedback about the quality
