- Develop, program, modify, and maintain PLC software for automated production systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, automation, and control system issues to minimize production downtime.
- Commission and validate new production equipment and automation systems.
- Optimize machine performance by improving PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and control strategies.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities related to automation equipment.

- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, electrical schematics, software backups, and change records.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and production personnel when required.
- Support installation, relocation, and modernization of manufacturing equipment.

Position Summary The PLC Engineer is responsible for the development, programming, optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment within an automotive production environment. The role focuses on ensuring maximum equipment availability, improving production efficiency, supporting new automation projects, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Develop, program, modify, and maintain PLC software for automated production systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens S7/TIA Portal preferred; Allen-Bradley or Beckhoff experience is considered an advantage). Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems. Good understanding of industrial communication protocols. Knowledge of servo drives, frequency converters, sensors, actuators, and electrical control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation. Experience in machine commissioning and fault diagnosis. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support if required. Preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent organizational and communication skills. High level of responsibility and attention to detail. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 is considered an advantage.
