How you’ll make an impact

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer at PROSAFETY , you’ll play a strong role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of tailor-made embedded systems for clients across industries such as mobile automation, transportation, medical engineering, process and industrial automation, and energy & drives. Your contribution will be meaningful and impactful.

You will:

• Create test specifications based on system and software requirements
• Create test cases and run both automated and manual integration tests in our in-house test environment
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to strict programming and quality standards
• Implement unit tests and check the individual software functions for intended behavior and robustness
• Continuously improve our verification processes and contribute to the evolution of our toolchain
• Collaborate closely with development teams, test engineers, functional safety and cybersecurity experts

Tech stack & know-how

We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with a structured approach and a passion for software quality. Whether you're already experienced or eager to grow in embedded testing, we’re ready to support your journey and invest in your advancement.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a “nose” for bugs
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
• Experience with verification tools like Tessy, Cantata, Klocwork, or similar is an advantage
• Proficiency in English is essential
• German language skills are highly desirable - and if you’re not there yet, we offer intensive language courses through the Goethe Institute
  Above all: a passion for quality, a love for testing, and a strong sense of teamwork.
