Homebox is a team of technology specialists building the missing financial management layer for utilities and the home. Homebox makes setting up and managing all household services simple for thousands of people every month through a combined bill.

### The Role

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Lead Laravel Engineer to join our team. You’ll have years of experience working with Laravel and are knowledgeable with the Laravel ecosystem, as well as comfortable dipping into front-end challenges where needed. That being said, the majority of our technical challenges and time are spent in backend Laravel work.

You'll need to be creative in your work, build and deploy quickly and have a sharp eye for detail. As we’re a small team you’ll need to be a self-starter but able to build to high standards. We value quality technical work highly at Homebox.

There will be opportunities to lead teams, so good communication skills are a bonus. We operate across the FinTech, PropTech & Utilities spaces, if these areas are of interest to you.

You’ll be working directly with technical leaders who have decades of experience as developers & founders within successful startups.

### Other Details

- This is a full-time role, 5 days a week

- The salary band for this role is £60k-£80k per year

- Remote only *must be based in a timezone +/- 3 hours of UK time*

- We mostly work asynchronously however short weekly audio or video calls may feature, as well as ad-hoc calls

- Hiring process; initial introductory audio or video call, follow-up video call a few days later, - hire around a week later.
